She will not cooperate
QuoteReply

I am overseas in teh Army... my wife has had an affair. I want a divorce, but she does not. I paid an attorney to do the paperwork for an uncontested divorce and she said she was willing to sign. When I sent her the paperwork she has since changed her mind and decided she does not want a divorce from me. I still do.

We do not have any assets, except houshold furniture. I have told her that she can have all of it. She has a car loan in her name and I have one in my name. We are both in poccession of our own cars.

What do I do? She will not sign. I need this divorce. There is nothing to fight over. We have nothing. I had $10,000 in savings, I gave ger $5,000 as a verbal agreement, but now she will not sign. Says she wants to work things out. I just want out of this marriage. Is this going to be timely and costly. I want to move on without a long drawn out process. I am in Iraq and can't make it to court.

Seriously, I do not want anything but to leave. She can have everything in the apartment. How do I resolve this, and where do I start with the process. Can I still do the uncontested? Or is it more complicated now?

Thanks for any advice!
